•About 10 different medical charitable organizations gathered at Memorial Hermann Hospital to discuss how the organizations can assist one another in achieving their common objective of improving healthcare in different parts of the world. A major concensus was that there ought to be a central website with a listing of resources available to other groups; a kind of 'classifieds'. For example, a pediatrician could advertise her or his services to a medical brigade going to Africa or South America for 2 weeks. An organization needing this service would have access to this information and could quickly make contact with that physician to fill their need.
